Blending indie-folk's sensuality with the dynamic turns of contemporary jazz, Sanne Sanne explores sparkling textures, rich vocal harmonies, and seductive grooves. Led by singer, percussionist, and composer Sanne Huijbregts, the quartet features Roosmarijn Tuenter (vocals & viola), Pat Cleaver (bass & vocals), and Jeroen Batterink (drums). The band won the Dutch Jazz Competition 2024, with jury chair Mijke Loeven praising their unique instrumentation and moving compositions. Their debut album, Mountain Child (2023), was followed by an extensive tour, including stages like Oerol, Bimhuis, TivoliVredenburg, and Paradox. A new album is planned for release in spring 2026.
